We are thrilled to have you join us and are really curious about your solo. This is how it works:
With audio interface:
Download the band track from Dropbox and copy it into your recording software (Cubase/Logic/Ableton/etc.). Connect your microphone or your instrument directly with your audio interface. Position your camera (mobile phone will do) in a way that you and your instrument can be clearly seen. Then you are ready to go. Put your headphones on, start the audio and video recording, and play your solo! As soon as you are finished, export your audio track separately (without the band track) into a waveform audio file with the same starting point as the band track. Name your files in the following way: last name_first name_instrument. Then you can upload your video and audio files to www.wetransfer.com and send it to us via funkyworship@gmx.de.
Without audio interface:
Download the band track from Dropbox to your phone or MP3 player. Position your camera or another phone in a way that you and your instrument can be clearly seen. Then you are ready to go. Put your headphones on, start the video recording, and play your solo with the rest of the band! Make sure to count yourself in, just like in the band track, so we can synchronize the video later. As soon as you are finished, name your file in the following way: last name_first name_instrument. Then you can upload your solo to www.wetransfer.com and send it to us via funkyworship@gmx.de.
By submitting your solo, you will also transfer your image and sound rights to Funky Worship. We will mix/master your solo into our song and include you in the video. As soon as everything is finished, we will share the video on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Please, send us an email with your social media channels, so we can tag you.
